About:
Pushmi-Pullyu is an electronic synth-based pop and shoegaze duo headed by UW-Madison's John Kruse. John is joined by trombonist and keyboardist Corey Murphy. Together, Pushmi-Pullyu makes "morose synth-pop numbers, but with a careful touch" as Decider Madison puts it. Pushmi-Pullyu has played a handful of shows in Madison, and is looking to play as often as possible before headman John Kruse moves to Norway for a year (August 2009). They are also in talks about a possible tour during the summer of 2009.
